How do we start?

Is the first call free?
Yes. You can book a free conversation to see whether we are a good fit.
Do I need to know which service I want?
No. We can talk through what is happening with your website and suggest a sensible starting point.
What kinds of business do you work with?
Steadward focuses on UK small businesses that want their websites to do more useful work.
Can you work with my current website?
Often, yes. We will first look at what you already have and what can realistically be improved.
The work
Do you only build new websites?
No. We also review existing sites, optimise pages and look at AI visibility.
Do you guarantee more enquiries?
No. We cannot promise a specific result without knowing your situation, and even then outcomes depend on many factors.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the service and scope. We will set out a schedule when we discuss the work.
Will I understand the recommendations?
That is the aim. We explain what we found, why it matters and what you could do next.
What if I want to keep improving after a project?
We can discuss ongoing reviews and the next priorities for your site.
Pricing and practicalities
How much does it cost?
A Website Growth Review costs £395. New websites start from £995 and monthly Care starts from £45. The Partnership is tailored to your site.
Do your prices include VAT?
Steadward isn’t VAT registered, so the prices shown are what you pay.
When do I pay?
Website Growth Reviews are paid before we start. Websites need a 20% deposit, with the balance due once you’re happy and before the site goes live. Monthly plans are paid monthly in advance. Invoices are due within 14 days.
How do I pay for a new website?
A 20% deposit books the work. The balance is due once you’re happy with the finished site, before it goes live.
Is the Website Growth Review credited against a new website?
Yes. If you book a new website with us within 3 months of the Review, its fee is credited against the build.
Is there a minimum term for monthly plans?
No. Monthly plans have no minimum term; you can end one with three months’ notice in writing.
Will I get a proposal?
Yes. We will agree the scope and costs before work starts.
Can you work with a small budget?
Tell us what you are trying to achieve and your budget. We will be honest about what is realistic.
Do you offer monthly support?
Yes. Care starts from £45 a month and Care + Growth from £95 a month. The Website Growth Review is a separate one-off service.
