Who we are
Steadward is a trading name of Paul Hickey, a sole trader based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Paul Hickey is the data controller for the personal information described here. Contact: paul@steadward.co.uk or 01562 265075.
What we collect and why

We only ask for what we need. We don't sell your information or use it for anyone else's marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted services to run the business. They only use your information to provide their service to us:
- Replit: hosts this website
- Resend: delivers contact form messages to our inbox
- Google Workspace: our email
- Plausible: cookieless website statistics
- Our accountant, if needed for tax and accounts
Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK-US data bridge or standard contractual clauses. If we add a new service that handles your data, such as a customer management system, we'll update this notice.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: deleted after 12 months.
- Client records: kept for 6 years after the work ends, for tax and accounting.
- Access to your accounts and website: removed when the work ends, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Email paul@steadward.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics don't use cookies at all. See our cookie policy.
Changes
We'll update this notice if the way we handle personal information changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
